A section ID is generated for each new character in Phantasy Star Online. A character's section ID affects the item drop rates from enemies, and the Tekker's appearance in games started by that character. Also, the Section ID of a MAG's holder at the moment of evolution affects the MAG's evolution rules.
Generation[]
